19 Found Dead in Uruapan This Morning

This morning, around 5:45am, motorists reported more than 19 dead bodies on the roads of the city of Michoacán. This number was confirmed by authorities, according to the Quadratin agency; authorities believe there may be more deaths.

“There are 10 bodies on the Industrial Boulevard in Uruapan”

Information from the State Command, Communications, Computing, Control and Intelligence Center (C5i) reported that six of the bodies were hung from a bridge. Another 7, were scattered on the Industrial Boulevard, some dismembered. The bodies were found on the Libramiento Oriente until the exit to the XXI Century Highway, which connects with the cities of Pátzcuaro and Morelia. Details of the other bodies have not been revealed.
