This Sunday, get out of the house and enjoy what the city has to offer.
Watch our live stream of the parade from Valle del Maiz to Centro at noon on Sunday.

  • Stop by the Seed Festival from 10am-3pm in front of Vía Orgánica, Margarito Ledesma 2, Col. Guadalupe
  • Check out “El Bazar – Market” with gourmet food, art, jewelry, crafts, music and clothing from 10am-5pm at the Ancha de San Antonio 123 (next to Mercado Sano)
  • Watch a Russian comedy/drama: Khrustalyov, My Car! Playing at Cine Bacco. 1:30pm or 4pm at Hernandez Macias 59. For reservations call 415 153 3844
  • Or catch a documentary/biography/sport: What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali, Primetime Emmy Nominee, playing at 12pm or 3pm at Mercado Sano, Ancha de San Antonio 123
  • Or watch a short play, “Neither with Words” by the Festival of the Theater for Small People at 5pm
  • Get out a move during the Danzon y Otros Ritmos (Dancing and other rhythms) in Plaza Civica at 5pm
  • The El Valle del Maíz neighborhood is the most authentic in town. Sunday, stop by the mass party to honor the Holy Cross. And for those earlybirds, Saturday, a one-of-a-kind tradition, the Guerritas, is a fight between soldiers that represent the conquerors and chichimecas. These confrotations are believed that ocurred during the foundation of San Miguel, at least 500 years ago. Stop by El Valle del Maíz, there is music, dancers, fireworks and street food. This is an authentic taste of San Miguel.
