Sanmiguelenses Use Victim Assistance Services

 The new center offers social services, first aid, medical services, psychologists, legal support, and legal accompaniment with personalized attention, protection and support. Located on Avenida 1 de Mayo Nº114 – 116 in Ignacio Ramírez, it is open to the public.  

On June 12, the Module for Attention to Victims of Violence and Mediation of the Municipal Institute for Attention to Women (IMAM) opened its doors to provide assistance to victims of crime and human rights violations. It has already attended to 48 people. The director of IMAM, Cynthia Sifuentes said that there have been cases of family violence, gender violence, psychological care due to crisis, legal advice on labor, civil, commercial and criminal matters for 41 women and 7 men. 

All services are free, and the hours of operation are from 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday. The telephone numbers are 415 150 1718 and 415 150 1719.
