ID Required to Board Flecha Amarilla Group Buses
Change implemented after National Institute of Migration’s new sanctions for transporting undocumented persons in within México.
In an effort to control movements of migrants within Mexico, official IDs will now be required to board inter-city buses; without ID, one will not be allowed to board the bus.
Primera Plus group, which owns and operates, Flecha Amarilla, Unebus, and Primera Plus, announced on their social networks, “Dear Customer. The Federal Givernmtnet now requires an ID to purchase tickets and board a bus. Acceptable forms of ID: INE, military passport, passport or professional identification card. We appreciate your understanding”.

The National Institute of Migration (INM) reported on May 22nd that it will impose economic sanctions and a prison sentance of up to 16 years to companies who transfer undocumented migrants through national territory.
