“Shut up and Drive” – Man’s Vehicle Boarded and then Crashed
A man got into another man’s vehicle and forced him to drive, ultimately leaving a crashed vehicle in the Jardin Principal. At 12:31pm, José Adam was driving his blue and gray Dodge Dakota with Guanajuato plates, on Calzada de la Estación and Purísima in the Barrio de las Cuevitas, when allegedly, a man got into his car and said: “shut up and drive.”
Nervously, the owner drove on, but Hidalgo and Mesones in Centro, he managed to get out of the truck and started running. The aggressor then took control of the vehicle and made his way to the Jardin Principal. Via Hidalgo, he headed into the pedestrian zone and then crashed into the wall in front of the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel.
Police in the area quickly responded that the driver, wearing a blue polo shirt and denim shorts had entered the Parish.
Police entered, arrested Ernesto Alejandro, and listened to José Adam’s version of the story.
Ernesto Alejandro was made available to the Ministerio Publico. Criminal Investigation agents collected fingerprints and filed the appropriate reports.
