Police Detain Alleged Thief

While doing their scheduled patrols, police detained a subject who was traveling in an allegedly stolen vehicle on April 25th.
The arrest occurred between Umarán and San Antonio Abad streets in San Juan de Dios when they detected a white van Chrysler Town & Country.
When the driver saw the police approaching, he tried to escape. The police captured him proceeded to inspect the vehicle. Inside they found a computer keyboard, CDs and the vehicle’s circulation card.
The detainee, Erick “N”, confessed that he broke part of the side window; he is known to be a watchman of the San Juan de Dios market. The alleged thief is at the disposal of the Ministerio Público.
