The Judases were a Smash Hit!

Today, when the clock struck noon, the trial began: 23 effigies of Judases, representing evil, made of cardboard and filled with gunpowder were placed on trial and then subsequently smashed to pieces. Spectators in the Jardín Principal looked on, amused and bewildered, as severed limbs were hurled across the street. Happy Easter to all!
