Family Shot in Colonia Olimpo – Father and Son Killed, Mother Injured
It was barely 7am when the neighbors of Colonia Olimpo heard at least 7 bullets. These bullets took the lives of the merchant José Natividad and his son José, while seriously injuring Doña Leonor.
Apparently, the bullets were not for them but for another member of the family who had previously had problems with an alleged drug dealer … and they retaliated against the family.
The sun was not even fully visible, yet police were dispatched and ambulances were in the streets.
The report was received by the emergency system around 7am, stating that gunshots were heard at the corner of Juno and Era streets, in Colonia Olimpo.
When the police arrived, they found a 3-ton white Ford F350 truck impacted by a pole with 2 men and 1 woman inside.
All had injuries from firearms. The two men did not have any vital signs and the woman sustained injury to the left arm and right hand. She was transported to a hospital.
Apparently the attackers were waiting for them at the door of their garage.
Police are investigating.
